About Me
Pascal Hahn was born into a theater family and discovered his love of music at an early age. In 2013, he moved to Cologne to study jazz trumpet, composition, and music education at the renowned Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. As part of his studies, Pascal founded the jazz ensemble Stadtgespräch.
Pascal is a freelance musician, composer and teacher. As a scholarship holder of the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation (jazz@undisigned), the HfMT Cologne (Deutschlandstipendium), the MKW NRW as well as the GVL he was awarded several times.
In addition to commissioned arrangements for various ensembles, Pascal also writes theater music. He specializes in the field of crossover and combines numerous influences in his music, from jazz and pop to classical and world music.
